Apricot Semen & Linum Formula | Ma Zi Ren Wan | 麻子仁丸
Functions and Indications:
Moistens the intestines to relieve heat, promotes the flow of qi, and facilitates bowel movements.
Treatment:
Gastrointestinal heat with insufficient body fluids. Constipation with hard stools that are difficult to pass, frequent urination, thirst and dry throat, abdominal distension, and abdominal pain.
Commonly used for habitual constipation, senile constipation, postpartum constipation in women, constipation due to hemorrhoids, after anorectal surgery, intestinal obstruction caused by roundworm infection, neurogenic urinary frequency, chronic prostatitis, cystitis, and other conditions.
DIRECTIONS
Take 4 capsules three times a day, or as directed by your health care professional.
